When you look at a map of Namibia most people see a country mainly covered with the Namib desert, but if you look closely into the Namib desert, you’ll see that there is also Fish River Canyon, the world’s second-largest canyon.

The desert is unique in terms of the landscape, the vegetation and the game that can be found within. You will not find another place like it in the world.

Besides the desert you also have at the northern end of the country, Etosha National Park. It has diverse wildlife including cheetah, lion, giraffe, hippo, hyena, elephant, zebra and much more. There is a magnificent salt pan within the park that draws a lot of game to drink water there so you can observe all kinds of animals.

One of the best cultures that you can visit is the Himba people in Namibia. Other points of interest in Namibia are Sousselvei, the Skeleton Coast, and the Naukluft desert.
